Surf Life Saving WA offers community programs to teach essential coastal recreation skills, from performing rescues to identifying coastal dangers.
Candidates will demonstrate various surf rescues, basic first aid, and supervision skills in open water environments, as well as identify potential risks. This certificate is recognised by the Department of Education and Training’s water safety guidelines for supervising children in both open and closed aquatic environments. It is suitable for anyone over the age of 13, including teachers.
