Provide First Aid

A one day course that teaches how the necessary skills required to manage emergency situations and provide emergency care. This course covers a range of content including recognising emergency situations, treatment of fractures and poisoning, as well as CPR and much more. This first aid training will give candidates life saving skills, as well as a first aid certificate that is valid for three years.

Successful completion of the course will result in candidates receiving a nationally recognised training statement of attainment for the following: HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid. This is valid for three years.

Provide First Aid Requalification

Candidates needing to requalify for their first aid certificate can undertake another one day course to do so. By consolidating the knowledge and skills developed in a candidate’s initial first aid training, the refresher course ensures that candidates receive updated skills and practices that continue to help them provide the best medical care possible in emergency situations.

Successful completion of the first aid refresher course will result in candidates receiving a nationally recognised training statement of attainment for the following: HLTAID003 – Provide First Aid. This is valid for three years.

Provide An Emergency First Aid Response In An Education & Care Setting

A specialised course for those who work in the education and childcare industry, as well as parents and carers of young children. Nationally recognised and endorsed by the ACECQA (Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority), this course meets all education requirements for first aid, managing anaphylaxis, and emergency asthma training. The course also covers content such as CPR and management of medical conditions such as diabetes and epilepsy.

Upon completion of the first aid training, candidates will receive a nationally recognised WorkCover approved statement of attainment for the following: HLTAID004 – Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting. This is valid for three years.

Home Lifesavers

A quick two hour course that has been tailored to teach parents, families, and friends essential lifesaving skills and information relevant to a home setting. Focusing on providing aid for unforeseen accidents, this course covers: CPR, choking, asthma, anaphylaxis, allergy treatment, fractures, sprains, as well as treating bites and stings.

This first aid training can be delivered at home or at your requested location. Home Lifesavers also requires a minimum group size of 10 people. Upon completion candidates will receive a certificate of participation.

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)

This three hour CPR course delivers the essential principles, skills, and knowledge to maintain or restore breathing and circulation. Covering techniques for adults, children, and infants, this course is based upon the standards set by the Australian Resuscitation Council. Content includes managing emergencies due to lack of oxygen, excess heat or cold, defibrillation, management of medical conditions that may need emergency care and more.

Upon completion, candidates receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the following: HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) valid for one year.

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Requalification

This brief, two hour CPR refresher course updates candidates on the latest techniques and information surrounding CPR. Essential skills and knowledge needed to maintain and restore breathing and circulation in infants, children, and adults are imparted on candidates.

Upon completion, candidates receive a nationally recognised statement of attainment for the following: HLTAID001 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) valid for one year.
