South West Development Centre

The South West Development Centre has been established to provide amazing experiences and development opportunities for the clubs and members of Surf Life Saving in Western Australia. The property sits on two acres in the heart of Margaret River. This unique setting will provide wonderful opportunities for clubs and members to participate in training and development activities in a purpose-built centre with access to the beaches of the region.

The Centre is available for SLSWA, affiliated Clubs and members to utilise a camp-style facility to run a variety of programs such as:

  • Youth Development and Leadership camps
  • Lifesaving Education and Training courses
  • Strategy workshops for Club Boards
  • Coaching and Officiating programs
  • Surf Sports training camps
  • Club Proficiency camps

The South West Development Centre is, first and foremost, a child-friendly and safe facility. SLSWA is committed to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children and young people involved in Surf Life Saving. Find out more about ChildSAFE.
