Delivery method: Face-to-face, 2.5 hours – training, theory and assessment are completed during the session. Blended is 2 hours face-to-face and online completion prior to course.
Assessment: Complete a theory paper and demonstrate emergency-response skills, including CPR on adult and infant manikins and AED use.

Upon successful completion of the course, candidates will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the following unit of competency:

The Code of Practice: First aid in the workplace recommends that CPR skills are refreshed annually.
The Construction Training Fund (CTF) provides funding support for training eligible workers in the construction industry.
We acknowledge the support of the CTF in reducing the costs of training for eligible workers.

Successful participants receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for HLTAID009 Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation.
While the qualification itself does not expire, many workplaces and industries commonly require CPR refresher training every 12 months.
Our HLTAID009 Provide CPR course is generally completed within 2–3 hours, including theory and practical assessment.
SLSWA’s public HLTAID009 Provide CPR course is $70 per person.
