Exploring all aspects of the ocean and beach environment: wave types, rip currents and sea creatures. Learn safety signals to alert lifesavers if assistance is required.
The BeachSAFE session will prepare people from all backgrounds and ages for Australia’s dynamic coastline.
Delivered by trained Surf Life Saving instructors who have extensive experience in ocean environments specifically in WA. This one-hour sessions delivered at your school, community group or local surf club can be tailored for all ages and levels of beach knowledge.
The course will cover key BeachSAFE principles: Supervision, Aquatic Education, First Aid and CPR, Emergency Preparedness and introduce participants to our valuable lifesaving services.
