- If you are booking a HLTAID011 Provide First Aid course, it includes HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). You do NOT need to book a separate CPR course.
- Due to the introduction of the requirement for a USI we are NOT able to issue certificates on the day of training. If you require it urgently, please plan accordingly by enrolling in a course that allows a few days for you to receive your certificate.
- The SLSWA Member Funded Code does NOT apply to this Curtin course. It only applies to specific Member First Aid courses that are booked on Saturdays or the occasional week day during the school holidays at Surf Life Saving WA or individual clubs. The code applies to financial surf club members. If you are not a financial member of a surf life saving club, you are NOT eligible to use this code under any circumstances. If non-members apply member discount codes, their enrollment will not be confirmed. Additionally, certificates will be withheld, until payment is made for students who complete the practical without making the required payment. The Curtin Student Guild does not have a membership with SLSWA.
This course is ideal for anyone wanting to learn CPR and AED use in emergencies. It equips you with the skills and knowledge to perform CPR and manage emergencies in the community or workplace until medical help arrives.
