The Community Surf Rescue Awareness session will provide candidates with skills and knowledge of aquatic safety‚ rescue and survival skill techniques to assist when participating in activities both in and around various aquatic environments.
Candidates will be required to demonstrate various surf rescues and basic first aid skills in an open water environment and identifying potential risks.Course Content

- Risk Assessment analysis
- Recognise appropriate safe beach zones
- Basic first aid skills relevant to the aquatic environment
- Various rescues techniques including tube and body board rescues
