Aussies action comes to an end

Following an epic nine days of action-packed competition, which saw more than 5,000 athletes from nearly 130 Australian Surf Life Saving Clubs converge on Scarborough and Trigg beaches, the 2023 Aussies came to a close on Sunday.

Across the nine days of competition, WA clubs saw more than 150 Masters, 35 Youth and 25 Open event podium finishes – an outstanding effort.

Congratulations to City of Perth (51), who finished the Open competition as the top-placed WA club in 14^th overall, followed by North Cottesloe (45) in 17^th, and Sorrento (37) in 19^th.

In the Masters arena, it was a tight battle for the top three spots, with Trigg Island taking third behind North Bondi in second and Bondi who took the win. City of Perth, North Cottesloe and Mullaloo all closed out the competition in the top ten!
