The Western Suns Youth Pathway Cup team is selected with the primary objective of developing athletes and providing the Surf Life Saving WA (SLSWA) youth with opportunities and a pathway to future SLSWA interstate teams. The Youth Pathway Cup closely mirrors the senior Interstate Championship format and involves teams from QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, TAS and WA. These teams are fully subsidised by Surf Life Saving WA.
The Western Suns Youth Pathway Cup Team will consist of 20 athletes from the following age groups:
- U14 members – 5 male and 5 female members
- U15 members – 5 male and 5 female members
The 2020 Youth Pathway Cup will be held in conjunction with the SLSA Interstate Championships at Alexandra Headlands on the 24th January 2020.
