Held in January each year, our hugely successful camps are important to build inter-club friendships, provide opportunities for participants to develop leadership and interpersonal skills, and are just a whole lot of FUN!

T.O.A.D. Camp

For U14 & U15 members, our Teamwork, Opportunities, and Development (T.O.A.D.) Camp is a development program designed to expose participants to a variety of skills and activities that will enhance and encourage their development and help create future leaders in surf life saving.

Held over 4 days at our at our South West Development Centre in Margaret River, up to two representatives from every WA club can attend.

EOI are distributed via SLSWA Circular (opens in a new tab) in July each year. Members are encourage to speak with their club if they are interested in being nominated.

Rise Up Camp

Our Rise Up Camp caters for U17 members (15- and 16-years-old), providing an opportunity for members to participate in a wide range of physical and social activities that will develop personal leadership skills. The camp activities and experiences are designed to build resilience, encourage personal growth, and challenge participants beyond their comfort zones.
