Youth Lifeguard Program

Got an U14/U15 who just can’t get enough of surf lifesaving? Or maybe they’re a lifeguard in waiting?
Our Youth Lifeguard Program for U14/U15 members delivers two action-packed days of activities.
Get into the water with advanced surf and ocean skills training, hear from a visiting Lifeguard, get up close to surf lifesaving power craft, including Jet Skis and Inflatable Rescue Boats, and learn more about first aid and how to respond in an emergency.
- When: 20 – 21 January 2027 (Wednesday/Thursday)
- Time: 8.30 am – 3.30 pm
- Location: Mullaloo Beach
- Cost: $180
- What’s Included: All activities, plus every participant will take home a very cool Lifeguard Academy cap and long-sleeved shirt!

Pre-requisites
To be eligible to enrol in the Youth Lifeguard Program, participants must:
- Be a financial member of an SLSWA Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC)
- Must be in the U14 or U15 years Youth Age Category by 1 October 2026
- Have completed and achieved their Surf Rescue Certificate
