1 & 2 km Run Series
January 15, 2027 @ 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm
The 1 & 2 km Run Series aims to encourage clubbies of all ages to train and simulate competition in 1 & 2 km run events in preparation for the Fuel to Go & Play WA Surf Life Saving Championships and The Aussies, while also meeting people from other clubs.
The 2026/27 Series will comprise 4 events, as follows
Dates & Times
- Race 1: Fremantle SLSC | Saturday, 7 November 2026.
- Race 2: Swanbourne Nedlands SLSC | Friday, 13 November 2026.
- Race 3: Coogee Beach SLSC | Friday, 18 December 2026.
- Race 4: Scarboro SLSC | Friday, 15 January 2027. 5.00 pm / Races start 6.00 pm sharp (sundowner after event)
Entries
- Register on the day – cash or eftpos
- $10 per event per runner.
Events:
- 1km: U6 – U12, and 60+
- 2km: U13 – U60
- 2km run relay team – optional
- An All Abilities participation event may also be provided
Rules
- The run events will be conducted to the current SLSA Surf Sport Manual (opens in a new tab)
- Runners must be current members of a Surf Life Saving Club
- Club competition cap preferred (represent your club with pride)
- The all abilities event will be a fun participation based event determined on the day
