Ngarkal Beach is popular among young families as it is a shallow swimming beach.
Ngarkal Beach (Port Coogee) is a shallow beach, great for wading in and for those new to the ocean especially young children. There is a Dome Cafe and a spray park which is very popular with young children. Another perk of Ngarkal Beachis that it is inclusive and offers an Accessible Beach program which includes the use of a rollout beach mat, accessible drink fountains, access ramps and pathways, universal toilets, accessible parking and beach wheelchairs (available between October and Easter). Surfing Info
Ngarkal Beach is not known as a surfing beach.
Beach Patrol
