Local secret south of Perth’s famous Scarborough Beach

Brighton Beach is a little local secret which is located just south of one of Perth’s most well known beaches and surf spot, Scarborough Beach. Brighton Beach is popular as it is usually a lot quieter than its popular neighbour.

Located just a short walk away from the hive of activity in Scarborough which includes cafes, restaurants and bars, pubs and clubs and hotels. Just behind Brighton there is a big green park with a coffee shop so you can stay in the calmer surrounds of Brighton Beach if you wish.

Swimming Info

The patrolled area offers the safest swimming areas. Always stay between the red and yellow flags.

Surfing Info

Brighton Beach is known for surfing and big waves, however provides better surf in the winter months. If you’re looking for surf, head approximately 3km north to Trigg Beach which is where you will find some of the best surf in Perth.

Beach Patrol
