Known for it’s calm waters, Koombana Beach is a great option to take the family swimming – you may even spot some of the local bottlenose dolphins!
Having undergone an extensive redevelopment, the transformation includes more parking bays, an amphitheatre, wheelchair access ramps, shade areas with seating and barbecues, an accessible playground, extensive landscaping and a revamped kiosk.
The redevelopment has also been designed to be accessible and inclusive for people with disability and includes several accessible features. In addition to the Changing Place Facility other accessible features include; ACROD bays, beach wheelchairs, drink fountains, seating, barbeques, accessible ramps to the beach and improved circulation space around the paved area of the development.

Beach Patrol
