Young Leaders Camp

The Young Leaders Development Camp is designed to cater for members between the ages of 18 and 25 years old. This camp provides an opportunity for members to participate in a range of physical and social activities that will develop personal leadership skills.

The program will provide members with the opportunity to become aware of their personal leadership style and the strength and weaknesses of that style. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet SLSWA leaders and participate in  advanced coasteering where they will use skills developed over the camp.

Attending this camp is highly recommended to any member interested in attending the SLSA National Leadership College (NLC) or National Leaders’ Masterclass.

Cost: $280.00 (inc. GST) per person

How to nominate:

  • Members are asked to self nominate here.
  • Nominees are required to provide a name and contact details of a Club Director/Officer who will endorse their nomination and act as a referee.
  • Nominees must provide details on their current involvement in leadership positions within their club and Surf Life Saving as well as a statement and why they believe this opportunity will be beneficial to them.
