Let’s be honest. We should all know first aid.
SLSWA volunteers and professional lifeguards undertake an overwhelming number of first aid cases every summer. Over the busiest season last year (2017-2018), SLSWA volunteers reported 2,844 first aid incidents that were attended to. Professional lifeguard services recorded 2,667 attended incidents. The occurrence of these do not discriminate against location. This means you could find yourself in an emergency situation anywhere, including your workplace.
So, a colleague is unresponsive – what do you do? Seconds count. Put your training in the hands of the professionals who train the lifesavers in charge of patrolling our WA beaches, and the leaders of training and experience in first aid incidents.
Become an everyday life saver and enrol your office in a first aid training course with SLSWA today. It may one day be a life saver.
