SUMMARY:WA Beach Stormers Round 1
DESCRIPTION:The Beach Stormers Series has been developed to provide Surf Life Saving beach athletes with more opportunities to compete in beach events across Australia\, regardless of their experience\, competitiveness or skill level. The series aims to deliver exciting\, inclusive and unpredictable racing for all participants. \nA key feature of the series is its Round Robin racing format for Distance Runs and Beach Sprints\, providing guaranteed racing for all athletes. Variable race distances create a more dynamic competition\, with athletes challenged to adapt and compete across a range of formats. The 2026/2027 Beach Stormers Series will be held across 5 states and 16 events throughout Australia. \nThe series will feature 15 x 5\,000-point events\, followed by a 10\,000-point Grand Finale at the iconic Manly Beach in January 2027. Athletes’ top three results from across the series will count towards the overall series points table\, providing multiple opportunities to build points throughout the season. \nEntries\n\nOpen to Under 13\, Youth (U14-U15)\, Under 17\, Opens and Masters Competitors\n$20 per person.\nEntries open via Surftec (opens in a new tab)\nFind out more information here.
