SUMMARY:St John Ambulance Professional Development Day
DESCRIPTION:Fremantle SLSC\, in partnership with SLSWA\, will be facilitating an interagency training opportunity for patrolling members with St John Ambulance paramedic interns. \nThis day is extremely beneficial for all patrol members to understand how skills as surf lifesavers can be utilised and integrated with other agencies’ management of incidents. \nThe day will consist of practical (dry) scenarios where members might act as the first responders\, and then others where we support St John Ambulance crews. These scenarios will take attendees through primary and secondary response as well as extrication. \nLocation: Fremantle SLSC \nDate: Monday\, 24 August\, 2026 \nTime: 9:00am – 3:00pm \nSpots are limited and fill up quickly. Please contact the coordinator\, Mike Shaw to sign up. \nIf we receive more expressions of interest than we have places available\, the extra names will be placed on a waitlist and receive priority placement in the next future session (if you’re available).
