The course is set by buoys/markers along the way to direct you as well as many water safety personnel on boards or signs on the sand directing you down the beach to Swanny. \nThe 2025 event will mark 40 years of the Swanny Ocean Classic\, and be held in honour of the late Colin Cook – Swanbourne Nedlands SLSC life member and founder of the event first held in 1986. \nRegistrations opening. \nFind out more here

DESCRIPTION:Albany Surf Life Saving Club invites you to register for this year’s Albany Harbour Swim. \n4 km Princess Royal Harbour – from Princess Royal Sailing Club to Peace Park Albany \nOpen to Solo swimmers (Open Water and Wetsuit Divisions)\, Duo and Quad teams. \nRegistration for TEAMS – 5.45am and SOLOS from 6.00am at PRSC \nTEAMS BRIEFING – 6.15am. Swimmers 2\, 3 & 4 boarding boats at 6.30am \nSOLOS BRIEFING – 7.00am \nRace Start 7:30am \nSea Rescue and Surf Life Saving craft will patrol the course for safety of swimmers. Paddlers MUST wear a PFD.  All swimmers are to leave the water at completion of their leg.  Cutoff for all swimmers will be 9:30 and strictly enforced. \nAs a participant of this Open Water Swim event\, you enter at your own risk. DESCRIPTION:The Surf Life Saving WA Nipper & Youth Awards presented by the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of Western Australia are a way to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Nipper and youth members across Western Australia. \nNow in its fifth year\, we are delighted to recognise the hard work of the finalists and award recipients\, who have been nominated for their contributions across a range of areas and will be recognised at the event ceremony. \nCategories to be awarded will include the Gold Level – Youth Leaders Program recipients\, U14/U15 Athlete and Lifesaver\, Youth Official\, Surf Sports Champions\, and of course the Nipper and Youth Member of the Year. \nWe also extend our thanks to the Scottish Masonic Charitable Foundation of Western Australia for their ongoing support of these awards and our youth programs. \nFind out more about the 2025 Nipper & Youth Awards here.
