SUMMARY:West Life Saving Pool Rescue Development Sessions
DESCRIPTION:Pool Rescue competition is a growing sports discipline for Surf Life Saving WA and its clubs. Pool Rescue sees competitors’ aquatic skills tested with events including manikin tows\, obstacle swims and tube swims carrying ‘patients’. \nIt is very important for surf athletes to have pool rescue skills – as well as surf skills – among their credentials in order to be considered for selection in Australian elite surf sports teams. \nPool tournaments also encourage athletes who may feel uncomfortable in the ocean to get involved in the lifesaving movement. \nWest Life Saving are offering a block of three pool rescue development sessions perfect for U8 – U14 junior athletes new to pool rescue. DESCRIPTION:Swanbourne-Nedlands Surf Life Saving Club’s premier event – the Swanny Ocean Classic 2024! \nWhether you’re there to swim\, paddle (racing mal or SUP) or run\, the Swanny Ocean Classic is a 2km event with something for everyone that over 1\,000 participants look forward to each year. \nThe 2km event starts at Cottesloe Beach and finishes at Swanbourne Beach at Swanbourne-Nedlands SLSC.
