DESCRIPTION:Got an U14/U15 who just can’t get enough of surf lifesaving? Or maybe they’re a lifeguard in waiting? \nOur Youth Lifeguard Program for U14/U15 members delivers two action-packed days of activities. \nGet into the water with advanced surf and ocean skills training\, hear from a visiting Lifeguard\, get up close to surf lifesaving power craft\, including Jet Skis and Inflatable Rescue Boats\, and learn more about first aid and how to respond in an emergency. \n\nWhen: 20 – 21 January 2027 (Wednesday/Thursday)\nTime: 8.30 am – 3.30 pm\nLocation: Mullaloo Beach\nCost: $180\nWhat’s Included: All activities\, plus every participant will take home a very cool Lifeguard Academy cap and long-sleeved shirt!\n\nRegister\nRegistration is now open here (opens in a new tab)! \nPre-requisites\nTo be eligible to enrol in the Youth Lifeguard Program\, participants must: \n\nBe a financial member of an SLSWA Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC)\nMust be in the U14 or U15 years Youth Age Category by 1 October 2026\nHave completed and achieved their Surf Rescue Certificate\n\nEnquiries\nPlease email training (opens in a new tab) or call (08) 9207 6666.
