SUMMARY:R&R Sundowner Series R2
DESCRIPTION:The R&R Sundowner Series is for athletes ages U11 – U15\, with a focus on training for 2 and 5-person R&R teams. Judges will offer review and encouragement for teams and coaches. This is the second event of the series and will be held at Fremantle on Leighton Beach. After the event Fremantle SLSC invite competitors and supporters to join them on the lawn for a sausage sizzle (provided by the club). \n\nThe Third event will be back at Scarborough Amphitheatre same timings as the first two events. \n\nEntries\n\nEnter on the night between 5-5:30pm\nEntry is free\n\nTeams\n\n2 Person: U11\, U13 & U15\n5 Person: U15\n2 Person teams will not be segregated by ages in the competition so mixed ages may compete side by side. Each team will receive its own judged score and feedback from judges. SUMMARY:2023 Sunset Challenge
DESCRIPTION:The Sunset Challenge is a major event on the Broome Surf Life Saving Club calendar. Over the years it has become a favoured carnival in which competitors from all over Australia come to enjoy the mix of friendly competition and a visit to paradise. \nJuly in Broome is the peak of the tourist season so intending competitors and visitors are strongly encouraged to book early for flights and accommodation. It is encouraged you contact the Broome Visitor Centre \nOver the Sunset Challenge weekend\, all participating clubs are asked to assist with the set-up and take down of competition areas. There will be social get together and award presentations after the completion of events on Sunday afternoon. \nEntries\nEntry fees are $20 per person and allow entry into all age group events. Registrations are in-person as detailed within the attached Event Program\, below. \nAge Categories\n\nNippers: U8\, U9\, U10\, U11\, U12\, U13\nYouth: U14\, U15\, U17\nOpen\nMasters\n\nSchedule\n\nRefer attached Event Program\nFri 7 July: Registrations only\, from 3pm to 5pm\nSat 8 July: Registrations from 8am – 8.45am. DESCRIPTION:Pool Rescue competition is a growing sports discipline for Surf Life Saving WA and its clubs. Pool Rescue sees competitors’ aquatic skills tested with events including manikin tows\, obstacle swims and tube swims carrying ‘patients’. \nIt is very important for surf athletes to have pool rescue skills – as well as surf skills – among their credentials in order to be considered for selection in Australian elite surf sports teams. \nPool tournaments also encourage athletes who may feel uncomfortable in the ocean to get involved in the lifesaving movement. \nThink you have what it takes? DESCRIPTION:The R&R Sunset Series is for athletes ages U11 – U15\, with a focus on training for 2 and 5-person R&R teams. Judges will offer review and encouragement for teams and coaches. \nThe third event will be held at Fremantle on Friday 3 February 2023 on Leighton beach.
