SUMMARY:1 & 2 km Run Series
DESCRIPTION:The 1 & 2 km Run Series aims to encourage clubbies of all ages to train and simulate competition in 1 & 2 km run events in preparation for the Fuel to Go & Play WA Surf Life Saving Championships and The Aussies\, while also helping them meet people from other clubs. \nThe 2026/27 Series will comprise 4 events\, as follows \nDates & Times\n\nRace 1: Fremantle SLSC | Saturday\, 7 November 2026. Registrations from 2:00 pm / Races start 3:00 pm sharp.\nRace 2: Swanbourne Nedlands SLSC | Friday\, 13 November 2026. Registrations from 5.00 pm / Races start 6.00 pm sharp (sundowner after event)\nRace 3: Coogee Beach SLSC | Friday\, 18 December 2026. Registrations from 5.00 pm / Races start 6.00 pm sharp (sundowner after event)\nRace 4: Scarboro SLSC | Friday\, 15 January 2027. 5.00 pm / Races start 6.00 pm sharp (sundowner after event)\n\nEntries\n\nRegister on the day – cash or eftpos\n$10 per event per runner.\n\nEvents:\n\n1km: U6 – U12\, and 60+\n2km: U13 – U60\n2km run relay team – optional\nAn All Abilities participation event may also be provided\n\nRules\n\nThe run events will be conducted to the current SLSA Surf Sport Manual (opens in a new tab)\nRunners must be current members of a Surf Life Saving Club\nClub competition cap preferred (represent your club with pride)\nThe all abilities event will be a fun participation based event determined on the day\n\nEvent Enquiries\nJack Dowie – 0413 333 650 \nDownload Information Flyer (opens in a new tab)
