SUMMARY:Training Officers Course | North Cottesloe
DESCRIPTION:This course gives you the WA Training Officers Award. \nIt is a generic trainers course covering teaching theory\, lesson structure\, communication skills\, skill development and documentation. \nOnce you have this award\, complete a logbook for the course you are interested in teaching e.g\, Bronze Medallion\, IRB and be signed off by a club mentor. \nThis course is delivered over 2 sessions. You will need to attend both sessions on 21 September and 28 September.  \nPre-requsites: \n\nSLS – Child Safe Awareness (takes about 20mins)\nSLS – Surf Risk Rating (takes about 20mins)\nMinimum age is 16\n\nThese modules can be found in the eLearning section of the members area. \nComplete pre-course activities in the WA Training Officer Course Portfolio.
