SUMMARY:Training Officers Course - Trigg
DESCRIPTION:It is a generic trainers course covering teaching theory\, lesson structure\, communication skills\, skill development and documentation. This course gives you the WA Training Officers Award. \nOnce you have this award\, complete a logbook for the course you are interested in teaching e.g\, Bronze Medallion\, IRB etc\, and be signed off by a club mentor. \nThis course is delivered over 2 sessions. You will need to attend both sessions \n\nSession 1: Wednesday\, 21 August (6:30 pm- 9:30 pm)\nSession 2: Saturday 24 August (9 am – 12 pm)\n\nPre-requsites: \nSLS – Child Safe Awareness (takes about 20mins)\nSLS – Surf Risk Rating (takes about 20mins)\nMinimum age is 16\nThese modules can be found in the eLearning section of the members area. \nComplete pre-course activities in the WA Training Officer Course Portfolio. This can be found in the Members Area Library. Activities 1-9 should take about 60 mins. \nFor further information and to book a place please contact Gabrielle Jolliffe \nMaximum of 16 places available.
