DESCRIPTION:The Sunset Challenge is a major event on the Broome Surf Life Saving Club calendar. Over the years it has become a favoured carnival in which competitors from all over Australia come to enjoy the mix of friendly competition and a visit to paradise. \nJuly in Broome is the peak of the tourist season so intending competitors and visitors are strongly encouraged to book early for flights and accommodation. We encourage all experienced sweeps to come along to the sessions to enjoy sharing your knowledge. \nNew sweeps of all levels are welcome. \nBYO boats\, crews and sweep oars. If you haven’t got these\, you’re still very welcome. \nStart Times\nfor 8am ‘on the water’\, so please arrange to get your boats/crews and self to the venues earlier to set up so we can maximise our learning time. \nVenues\nThe venue will be dependent on weather\, swell conditions and hosting clubs.
