The Holiday Nippers program is an exciting six-day school holiday program designed to increase children’s confidence at the beach, and introduce them to surf safety.

The program allows participants aged 6 to 13 years to experience what the Nipper’s program has to offer, should they wish to join a local Surf Life Saving Club, where they can participate in a range of lifesaving and sport opportunities.

Our qualified Lifesavers will share their extensive beach knowledge and teach participants an array of skills in a fun and social environment. Participants will learn to read beach conditions and use a range of equipment including rescue tubes and bodyboards.

Adapted from Surf Life Saving WA’s Nipper Program, Holiday Nippers offers participants three skill-based levels of learning;
  1. Surf Aware
  2. Surf Safe
  3. Surf Smart
