Rescue Crew
As a metro Rescue Crew Officer I work alongside the Pilot and Air Crew Officer to conduct surveillance patrols where we look to identify different types of coastal hazards and handle them accordingly. I can be dispatched from the helicopter into the water if deemed necessary and I spend our time on ground preparing the equipment required for the day to ensure we are always rescue ready.
