Rescue Crew
As a Rescue Crew Officer I am responsible for working with the Pilot and Air Crew Officer to conduct scheduled surveillance patrols, looking for and taking action in response to different types of coastal hazards. When an incident occurs I am able to be dispatched from the helicopter into the water or on to land to effect a rescue or render assistance. I am involved in ensuring we are “rescue ready” at all times in the event of a tasking.
I primarily work on the Metro Service.
