I primarily work on the Metro Service.

Favourite WA Beach?

Metro

Favourite holiday destination and why?

Yallingup Southwest WA – it combines the two things I love most, enjoying our amazing beaches and spending time with my family on their property.

What inspired you to join the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service?

Having seen my sister in the service for several years, I always thought it was something I would love to try. When the opportunity came up, I thought it would be a great way to continue to be involved in Surf Life Saving serving the community, while also gaining experience in an aviation role.

What motivates you to work for the service and help the community?

I have always been drawn to roles of service within Surf Lifesaving and my career within Emergency Services and it makes me feel happy knowing that people can enjoy the beach feeling that bit safer knowing the Westpac Helicopter is flying above.

What’s your hidden talent?

I make a pretty darn good banana bread!

Do you have any aspirations in aviation?

Working within emergency services, I am interested in exploring opportunities within the air wing down the track and working as rescue crew on the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter will be a great opportunity to gain an insight into aviation roles.

If you were stranded on an island what three things would you bring with you?

My  husband, my dog and a loaf of my banana bread.
