Ngarkal Beach (Port Coogee)

Ngarkal Beach (Port Coogee) is a harbour in the growing Port Coogee area which is located between Fremantle and next to Coogee Beach. It is especially popular with young families as it is a shallow beach, perfect for wading in and for those new to the ocean.

Beach Patrol

There are currently no beach patrols operational at this beach. Surf Life Saving Club patrols will re-commence later in the year. In the meantime, for up to date information around beach closures and safety, follow us on twitter.

My Beach

Ngarkal Beach (Port Coogee) is a shallow beach, great for wading in and for those new to the ocean especially young children. There is a Dome Cafe and a spray park which is very popular with young children. Another perk of Ngarkal Beachis that it is inclusive and offers an Accessible Beach program which includes the use of a rollout beach mat, accessible drink fountains, access ramps and pathways, universal toilets, accessible parking and beach wheelchairs (available between October and Easter).
