Ngarkal Beach (Port Coogee) is a shallow beach, great for wading in and for those new to the ocean especially young children. There is a Dome Cafe and a spray park which is very popular with young children. Another perk of Ngarkal Beachis that it is inclusive and offers an Accessible Beach program which includes the use of a rollout beach mat, accessible drink fountains, access ramps and pathways, universal toilets, accessible parking and beach wheelchairs (available between October and Easter). Ngarkal Beach (Port Coogee) is a harbour in the growing Port Coogee area which is located between Fremantle and next to Coogee Beach. It is especially popular with young families as it is a shallow beach, perfect for wading in and for those new to the ocean.
