*Conference Format Comments:

• Travelling up from the country it allowed time to get back in daylight hours.

• We are all so busy, not sure any format would suit these days, not sure any format would suit these days.

• It would have been better to schedule one full day

*Australian For Life Comments:

• It was good to be informed of the new advertising strategy

• I don't believe that these ads will actually give the Clubs and income from the corporate world and the public in general.

RTO Developments - Peter Ashby SLSWA Member Education & Training Manager

*RTO Developments Comments:

• Brought up the usual issues of why have RTO, but showed to group that it was not just a whim on the part of SLSA.

SUNDAY - Workshop Feedback

Point of View - Workshop

*Point of View Comments:

• Yes, only because I'm a vocal person :-)

• Yes our group split in two and my group did a good job

• being able to give a view is good to learn and grow as a organisation

What do you feel you acheived within your workshop group?

• A better understanding of why actions were performed.

• Clarified a few radio / communications issues ; identified were SLSWA resources could be revised.

• A sharing of ideas, techniques and understanding.

• Fairly good consensus on how the patrol and first aid scenario should run. Not really any big changes

   

Conference Summary

Conference Summary Comments:

• Need to have more hands on type of workshops. Need show/tell/practice type of thing. Too much emphasis on how big clubs do things and how to acheive outcomes for mass exams.

• It should be a good opportunity to get consistency across all clubs.

• Definately worthwhile holding, just need to tweak the format of the workshops.

• Yes, always enjoy attending - this year was good

• Provided an opportunity for an interaction of ideas and the facility to be informed of developments within surf life saving.
