To be eligible for this scholarship members should note that the minimum age is 21 and candidates must have a current Bronze Medallion, possess strong leadership and communication qualities and understands the responsibilities of the scholarship.

The Sir Adrian Curlewis Scholarship is a personal development program aimed at providing young leaders of surf lifesaving with the tools to assist in the development of their own inter and intra personal skills. The scholarship is a 12 month scholarship which commences with a four day introductory program held in Sydney during April.

Following this introduction, scholars undergo a formal learning program where they experience ongoing contact with specified mentors, Surf Life Saving Australia and their respective State Centres.
