The 2010 Junior Surf Life Saving State Championships have just concluded at Trigg beach and it was the host club who once again dominated to take first place overall.

Trigg Island SLSC finished first in the total point score on 502 points, ahead of Mullaloo SLSC on 283 points, City of Perth SLSC on 179 points, North Cottesloe SLSC on 163 points, Sorrento SLSC on 162 points and Scarboro SLSC on 128 points.

Coogee Beach SLSC won the handicap trophy ahead of Denmark SLSC, Busselton SLSC, North Cottesloe SLSC and Floreat SLSC.
 

In total 21 clubs were represented by approximately 1,200 competitors. The athletes competing were treated with great conditions on both days of the Championships at Trigg, with only some bigger surf rearing its head late each day when the sea breeze came through.

The overall male and female competitor of the 2010 Junior Surf Life Saving State Championships was Jeremy Andrew (North Cottesloe SLSC) and Elise Smith (Trigg Island SLSC) respectively. Jeremy and Elise received an Apple iPod as a prize for this award thanks to the support of Rockingham Retravision.
