The Westpac Rescue Helicopter consists of the following Crew members:
 
Pilot:                            (position and roles currently been revised)
 
Crew Chief:                   (position and roles currently been revised)
 
Senior Crew:                  (position and roles currently been revised)
 
Air Crew:                       (position and roles currently been revised)
 
Rescue Swimmer:           (position and roles currently been revised)
 

• SLSWA has initially recruited and trained 16 crew in helicopter rescue operations.
• A minimum of 3 crew will operate the service at any one time (1 x pilot, 1 x air crew, 1 x rescue crew).
• A maximum of 4 crew can be on duty (1 x pilot, 1 x air crew, 2 x rescue crew).
• At this point the crew will be required to be rostered for an entire weekend every month.
