Surf Life Saving Western Australia as an organisation values the importance of providing development opportunities for its members with lifelong learning and experiences provided through programs, training, forums, camps and the like.

Development has had a recent injection of resources and expertise by the Surf Lifesaving Academy backed by the generous support of Woodside Energy Ltd. We are in the process of putting in tracking systems for members and a formal mentor programme. Through the introduction of the Academy, we are in a position to provide quality member and community development through a wide range of programs and activities.

One such exciting new initiative that will be developed in the near future is the accredited training of leadership skills and related fields.
