Surf Rescue Certificate (SRC)

The Surf Rescue Certficate (SRC) Course is conducted at Surf Clubs across the West Australian coast.
The Surf Rescue Certificate is the very first stage of becoming a lifesaver. Whether you are competitive or not, there is plenty of opportunity and variety of challenges within the surf club:
•For children/adults who are not competitive in the usual Surf Lifesaving Competitions but would like other opportunities, they can represent their club in R&R, and/or March Past at both local and state level,
•For U/13 - U/14's who participate in the Surf Lifesaving Competitions the SRC is a requirement, along with minimum patrol hours to compete at Local & State Competitions/Carnivals,
•To assist your club with community Service via patrolling our beaches,
•Developing your team building skills,
•Helping with water safety at carnivals and surf club events,
