Surf's Up is an exciting and interactive summer holiday program for participants between the ages of 7 & 10 years. Over a three day period in January, participants will learn about and enjoy the beach environment with fun games on the beach and in the water, under the supervision of fully qualified Surf Lifesavers.

Required Prerequisite Swim Skills

The Surf's Up program will expose your child to a range of land and water based activities. As Surf's Up is not a ' learn to swim' program your child must possess a prerepuisite level of swimming skill to be able to fully participate in all the water activities.

If your child cannot swim to the required level they may still participate in the program. In this instance you will be required to hire a Personal Floatation Device from SLSWA (please complete the PFD Hire Form) and your child will participate in modified water activties considered appropriate to their existing swimming capability.

To assist us in catering for your child you are required to advise us of your child's current swimming capability by returning a signed copy of the Participate Declaration Form to the Program Supervisor at the commencement of your first session. Participants will be restricted to modified water activities only until this declaration is returned.
